Templeton & Associates Equipment Sales, a Ferguson Company is now seeking a Sales Engineer Project Manager to be responsible for the entire life cycle of the project activities from project award through final completion. In addition to managing projects, this position is also responsible for field service operations, warranty support/engineering support, startup coordination, and customer communications while ensuring projects are completed efficiently, accurately and on schedule.
This role will offer hybrid flexibility following an initial training period in our Suwanee location.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from project award through completion, including project documentation, scheduling, procurement, submittals, startup, warranty, and closeout activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, service requests, warranty claims, and project-related inquiries.
- Establish and maintain project schedules, deliverables, documentation, and action items to ensure projects remain on track.
- Monitor project management reports, software systems, and databases to ensure project information, schedules, and records are accurate and current.
- Develop, review, and manage equipment submittals, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, technical documentation, and project-specific deliverables.
- Manage project-related service calls, field technicians, manufacturers, contractors, and customers to ensure timely resolution of field issues.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for field service activities, including COPI documentation, pre-startup checklists, warranty claim forms, service reports, and related records.
- Distribute, collect, review, and maintain pre-startup checklists and ensure outstanding items are resolved prior to startup.
- Manage the warranty process from initial claim through final resolution, including technical documentation, manufacturer communication, claim submission, and customer notification.
- Evaluate warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer requirements and project specifications and coordinate engineering activities required for resolution.
- Communicate warranty claim status, approvals, denials, corrective actions, and resolutions to customers, sales personnel, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of service activities, warranty claims, project issues, resolutions, and customer communications.
- Schedule and manage preventative maintenance, PM repair services, equipment inspections, and project startup activities.
- Manage parts ordering, returns, replacements, and related documentation associated with warranty and field service activities.
- Develop, implement, and manage PM contracts and related documentation, schedules, and customer requirements.
- Identify project risks, schedule concerns, technical issues, and customer requirements and take appropriate action to maintain project progress.
- Communicate directly with customers, contractors, manufacturers, field personnel, and internal teams to resolve project and equipment-related issues.
- Maintain ownership of assigned projects and ensure commitments, deadlines, and deliverables are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in project engineering and/or project management. Experience with pumps, pumping systems, and water system hydraulic analysis is preferred.
- Experience with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) documentation and project execution is preferred.
- Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to quickly develop a strong understanding of technical products, equipment, systems, and processes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
- Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong reading comprehension with accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, contractors, manufacturers, engineers, field personnel, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to travel to customer sites throughout the state of Georgia.

Pay Range:

$5,608.34 - $8,975.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
