This dual-role position supports the sales department by assisting daily operations and helping drive inventory acquisition through customer outreach, appointment setting, and dealership support activities.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Sales Duties:
- Assist Sales Managers and Sales Consultants with tasks
- Prepare vehicles for customer demos and deliveries
- Manage keys, fuel, wash coordination, and delivery prep
- Maintain a clean, organized showroom and lot
- Assist customers with product questions & test drives
- Prepare paperwork packets and delivery folders
- Move vehicles safely as directed
Acquisition Duties:
- Contact prospects for potential vehicle purchases
- Set and track acquisition appointments
- Work with management to appraise, photograph, and document vehicles
- Follow up with missed appointments or warm leads
- Assist in generating new acquisition opportunities
- Communicate professionally with sellers
- Coordinate with used car manager on purchased units
Additional Duties:
- Assist BDC when needed (calls, confirmations, appts.)
- Support delivery specialist with handovers
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management
Expectations:
- Accurate appointment logging
- High show-rate and acquisition conversion
- Reliability and timely task completion
- Strong teamwork and communication
Requirements:
- Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.
Hours:
- Full-time position requiring no more than 40 hours per week unless approved by a supervisor
- Schedule based on dealership needs
- Overtime must be pre-approved in writing or email by a direct supervisor
Compensation:
- $15 per clock hour plus commission
