Digital Print Operations Specialist
BHS Corrugated is looking for a Digital Print Operations Specialist to support our growing Digital Print operation in the Temple, TX area.
This is not a traditional 100% traveling field-service position. Your primary responsibility will be supporting the Digital Print equipment located in the Temple, TX area where you will spend the majority of your working time. As business and service needs arise, you will also travel to other BHS customer locations throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to provide additional technical support.
This is a hands-on technical role for someone who enjoys working directly with industrial equipment, troubleshooting problems, and learning advanced Digital Print technology.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a primary technical resource for the Digital Print equipment at your assigned Indianapolis-area location
- Operate and troubleshoot large-format, high-speed industrial digital printing equipment
- Diagnose print-quality, equipment, electrical, and process-related issues
- Perform color calibration, profiling, and color correction
- Prepare and optimize digital files for production
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning
- Read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics
- Support equipment installations, service, and troubleshooting
- Travel to other BHS customer sites as needed to provide additional Digital Print support
- Work directly with customers and BHS teams to keep equipment operating at its best
What We're Looking For
You could be a strong fit if your background includes:
- Digital, commercial, or industrial printing
- Industrial maintenance or field service
- Electrical troubleshooting
- PLCs and industrial controls
- Drives, servos, sensors, or automated equipment
- Color management or print production
- Corrugated, packaging, converting, or manufacturing equipment
Experience with AGFA printheads, Siemens S7, TIA Portal, E-Plan, Bosch Rexroth, or similar industrial controls is a plus, but not required.
Technical/trade school, an Associate's degree, or equivalent hands-on technical experience is required.
About the Travel
While travel is an important part of this position, your assigned Temple - area Digital Print equipment will be your primary focus.
You will spend the majority of your time supporting that operation and will travel to other customer locations when additional installation, service, troubleshooting, or technical support is needed. Travel may include locations throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico and can occasionally occur on short notice.
