Role Overview
Clarion Partners seeks to hire a Senior Analyst / Associate, Senior Housing Asset Management to support asset management initiatives within the Senior Housing & Active Adult portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Senior Housing Asset Management, this individual will support the day-to-day execution of asset management strategies and business plans designed to maximize the value of Clarion's investments.
The individual will work closely with the Investments, Research, Portfolio Management, Capital Markets, and Senior Housing Asset Management teams to monitor performance, support operator relationships, perform financial analysis, and contribute to portfolio reporting and strategic initiatives. This role requires strong financial and analytical skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of Clarion's Senior Housing Asset Management platform while gaining broad exposure to asset management, portfolio strategy, operator oversight, acquisitions support, and capital markets activities.
Responsibilities
· Support execution of approved asset-level business plans for Senior Housing and Active Adult investments.
· Monitor financial and operational performance across assigned assets, including monthly performance analysis, forecasting, budget reviews, and KPI tracking.
· Prepare and maintain financial models, dashboards, portfolio analytics, and reporting materials.
· Assist in the preparation of investment committee memoranda, quarterly asset reports, and investor-facing presentations and reporting materials.
· Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes with operators and internal stakeholders.
· Participate in operator calls, property reviews, and asset-level meetings to evaluate operating performance, leasing trends, expense management, and capital initiatives.
· Support engagement with third-party operators and property partners to drive occupancy growth, operational efficiencies, revenue enhancement, and NOI performance.
· Assist acquisition, underwriting, and due diligence efforts through financial analysis, market research, and review of operating assumptions and supporting materials.
· Analyze market trends, competitive properties, demographic data, and operator performance benchmarks to support investment and asset management decisions.
· Track capital expenditure programs and value-enhancement initiatives across the portfolio.
· Support refinancing, recapitalization, and disposition activities, including preparation of diligence materials and coordination with internal and external partners.
· Maintain accurate asset-level data, documentation, and reporting records.
· Contribute to process enhancements, reporting improvements, portfolio analytics, and asset management best practices.
· Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects in support of broader portfolio and platform initiatives.
Qualifications
· 2-4 years of experience in real estate asset management, acquisitions, portfolio management, investment analysis, private equity real estate, REITs, investment banking, consulting, or a related field.
· Strong financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills.
· Understanding of property-level financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and investment performance metrics.
· Experience with Excel-based financial analysis; proficiency in PowerPoint and portfolio reporting tools preferred.
· Interest in real estate investment and operations, with exposure to senior housing, healthcare real estate, multifamily, hospitality, or related sectors considered a plus.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize financial and operational information into concise, actionable insights.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail.
· High degree of integrity, accountability, professionalism, and sound judgment.
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Economics, or a related field.
