Oncology Registered Nurse On-Call Requirements
- Approximately 10-12 on-call days per month
- Shared coverage utilizing two program-specific on-call phones
- Overnight calls are expected
- May be required to report to the clinic after hours when clinically necessary
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience
- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience
- Strong oncology clinical background required
- Experience caring for complex oncology patients
- Comfortable supporting stem cell transplant and CAR-T/cellular therapy patients
- Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) or equivalent
- Candidates without certification must be willing to obtain certification within 3 months of hire
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage care for stem cell transplant and cellular therapy patients
- Support patients receiving CAR-T and other advanced cellular therapies
- Provide patient education, symptom management, and ongoing clinical support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers to ensure seamless treatment coordination
- Participate in the program's on-call rotation and after-hours patient support
- Assess patient needs and assist with care planning throughout treatment
On-Call Requirements
- Approximately 10-12 on-call days per month

On-Call Compensation
- Standard on-call pay: $90 per night
- CAR-T program coverage: $750 per night when applicable Current volume averages approximately one CAR-T patient per month
Weekend & Holiday Requirements
- Every other weekend coverage required
- Weekend rate: Regular hourly pay + 20% differential
- If called in during an on-call shift, nurses receive a minimum of 4 hours pay
- Holiday pay: Time-and-a-half

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $82000.00 - $90000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. We will share benefits with candidates
