Research Coordinator

Jain Global is an innovative and growing multi-strategy investment firm scaling across regions, markets, and asset classes.  With offices in New York, Houston, London, Singapore, and Hong Kong, we are looking to add to our growing platform.

Overview

Jain Global is seeking a highly motivated Research Coordinator to work closely with the Global Head of Broker Relations, APAC COO and the APAC Investment Team to provide administrative, organizational, and strategic support.  A high standard of experience, excellence, professionalism, flexibility, teamwork, strong organizational skills, polished communication, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are key to this role.

Responsibilities:

- Provide day-to-day support for PM and Analyst teams including corporate access execution from requests through allocations and confirmation
- Strategically coordinate Research and Corporate Access with external partners (banks, broker / dealer partners, and research providers) and origination directly with corporate management
- Handle heavy calendar management, coordination across broader sector teams for collaboration
- Maintain critical reporting systems and data for Broker Relations with daily data entry, maintenance, and oversight for covered / sector investment teams
- Track, review, and reconcile essential data for Compliance and broker evaluation purposes based on PM and Analyst resource consumption
- Work with our Compliance team to ensure adherence to policy and clearance, notably with regards to external / sell side resources and interactions
- Liaise with internal and external partners on behalf of your investment team including Sell-side contacts, Research Vendors, Corporate IR teams & Expert Networks – specifically for scheduling and overall coordination
- Daily collaboration with the Jain Global Research Coordinator team on cross-sector work and provide back-up coverage as needed
- Develop new / more efficient processes in collaboration with our investment teams and Broker Relations overtime to contribute and be involved in strategic projects and initiatives
- Process travel and associated expenses
- Help with ad hoc requests and projects
- Expense management, reporting, and processing

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years administrative experience within financial services preferred. Knowledge and experience within research services and/or corporate access a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Knowledge and experience with CorpAxe, Street Context and/or Bloomberg
- Strong time management skills
- Must be collaborative and possess the ability to work independently
- Excellent organization skills and detail orientation

- A commercial and thoughtful mindset; ability to “connect the dots” and unearth synergies for collaboration and resource utilization
- Sense of ownership of work; proactive in following up on details, anticipating needs or issues and closing the loop on PM and Analyst requests
- Mature and strong inter-personal skills; able to interact professionally with peers and senior level management both internally and externally. Ability to maintain a level of confidentiality when needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn or currently utilize AI Tools
