## About the role

The Supply Chain Specialist coordinates supply chain activities to support the efficient flow of materials and products from suppliers through manufacturing to customers. The role supports supply planning, production scheduling, inventory management, customer service, and operational execution while improving service, inventory, and cost performance.

## Key responsibilities

Planning & Supply Management

•  Develop and maintain supply plans aligned with customer demand and inventory targets.

•  Monitor inventory and recommend actions to prevent shortages, excess, or obsolescence.

•  Coordinate production requirements and schedules with manufacturing teams.

•  Manage replenishment plans and material requirements.

•  Support the S&OP process through analysis, scenario evaluation, and reporting.

Customer Service & OTIF Delivery

•  Support on-time, in-full fulfillment of customer orders.

•  Monitor service performance and proactively address supply constraints.

•  Communicate supply risks, trade-offs, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.

Inventory & Working Capital Management

•  Maintain inventory within agreed targets while protecting customer service.

•  Identify opportunities to reduce inventory and improve working capital.

•  Analyze slow-moving and obsolete inventory and coordinate corrective actions.

Supplier & Logistics Coordination

•  Collaborate with Procurement, suppliers, warehouses, and logistics providers.

•  Support raw material availability and transportation planning.

•  Monitor supplier performance and escalate supply continuity risks when needed.

Data Analysis & Reporting

•  Prepare and maintain supply chain metrics, dashboards, and exception reports.

•  Use ERP and planning systems to support timely, data-based decision making.

•  Provide clear visibility of service, inventory, capacity, and plan attainment.

Continuous Improvement

•  Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

•  Support supply chain standards, system enhancements, and best-practice adoption.

•  Participate in cross-functional initiatives and new product introductions.

## Qualifications and skills

Education Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field experience.

Experience 2-5 years in supply chain planning, procurement, customer service, logistics, or manufacturing planning.

Industry Food, ingredients, consumer goods, or manufacturing experience preferred.

Systems SAP or equivalent ERP; strong Microsoft Excel capability; Power BI preferred.

## Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $63,000 - $103,450 in Annual Salary.  Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role.  Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.  Kerry offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Employee Share Plan, Life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.  This job posting is anticipated to expire on December 18th, 2026.
