About this role
Proximie is on a mission to improve healthcare by transforming the world’s operating rooms into connected ecosystems of people, devices, and data.
Our Intelligence Suite transforms operating room (OR) performance, keeping teams in sync and workflows on track to maximise throughput. Simultaneously our computer vision and AI capabilities capture real-time data and detect surgical events – improving quality of data outputs. The result: ORs are optimised like never before – with predictive analytics and automated notifications ensuring patients and staff are in the right place at the right time.
Once practitioners are in the OR, our Surgical Suite enables real-time remote access and creates a secure video record of every procedure; improving training, education, and collaboration. It is an intuitive asset which helps instil a culture of continuous learning, accelerates the adoption of cutting-edge medical devices, and enhances surgical performance across the entire global workforce – improving outcomes and saving lives.
Proximie was commercialised in 2019 and is available in over 500 facilities globally.

Position Overview
Events are one of the most important ways Proximie positions itself as a market leader and builds partnerships with health systems, surgeons and partners. We're hiring an Events and Content Marketing Manager to own how we show up at them, from large industry conferences to a new programme of our own hosted events.
This is a high-ownership role that combines strategy with delivery. You'll build the business case for where we invest in events, aligned to company objectives. You'll then run each event from start to finish, including the communications plan, and prove what it contributed to brand, advocacy and pipeline. You'll sit in the Marketing team and report to the Brand and Communications Manager. You'll work closely with Sales and draw on the team for support across marketing operations, video, brand and communications, product marketing and demand generation.
This role is based in London on a hybrid basis. Many of our key events take place in the US, so regular international travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Recommend and prioritise our events calendar, building the case for each investment against company objectives and setting a clear goal for every event.
- Run every event from start to finish, covering logistics, supplier negotiation, collateral and merchandise, with the budget tracked against the value it returns.
- Help launch and grow our own events programme, including roundtables and webinars, and turn them into content the wider business can use.
- Create new and repurpose existing content for every event - before, during and after – deployed across multiple channels and, working with the wider team.
- Support on securing speaking opportunities alongside our agency and network, and prepare the talking points and presentations that go with them.
- Own outreach before and after each event, working hand in hand with Sales to give them the content they need. Then hand leads to the Demand Generation team with full context for ongoing nurture.
- Build and improve the processes behind our events, including how Marketing and Sales work together on them, automating where it helps with HubSpot and AI tools such as Claude.
- Measure every event, with a focus on lead generation and brand exposure, and use the results to shape what we do next.
Requirements
- 5+ years in events or field marketing, with hands-on content and copywriting experience.
- Experience in a B2B tech scale-up or startup, where you've delivered events without a large team behind you.
- A commercial mindset. You know how events build brand and drive pipeline, and you can make a confident business case for them.
- Strong project management. You can run several events at once without dropping detail.
- Excellent writing and communication, and confidence managing stakeholders from senior speakers to suppliers.
- Comfortable with autonomy and pace. You're collaborative, adaptable and bring energy even in the busiest event seasons.
- Experience with HubSpot and an appetite for using AI to work smarter.
- Comfortable using data to make decisions.
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare, medtech or health tech.
- Experience running events across the UK, US or Middle East.
