Job Description
Legum and Norman is hiring a Lifestyle Director for its 55+ active adult community in Fredericksburg, VA.
The Lifestyle Director is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of lifestyle programs and events that enhance resident engagement and overall quality of life within a Homeowners Association (HOA) active adult (55+) community.
This position also provides administrative support to HOA operations, including resident communications, amenity coordination, and alignment of activities with governing documents and community standards. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver a high level of customer service while supporting both lifestyle initiatives and operational functions.
This is an on-site position, Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5pm, with occasional nights and weekends, depending upon community events.

- Program and Event Coordination.
- Event Execution and Support.
- Vendor and Instructor Coordination.
- Resident Engagement and Club Support.
- Communication and Promotion.
- HOA Administrative Support.
- Administrative Responsibilities.
- Facility and Team Coordination.
- Other duties as requested.
Annual salary: $55K-$60K, depending upon experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of experience in lifestyle programming, event planning, hospitality, or community engagement.
- Ability to successfully plan, coordinate, and manage resident programs, events and activities.
- Experience in an active adult (55+) community preferred.
- Experience in creating and managing budgets.
- Experience in administrative tasks utilizing MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines, strong follow-up skills, and communicating updates to all involved.
