We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of major aviation infrastructure projects in Ireland. This is an opportunity to work within a live operational environment, collaborating with clients, consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects that enhance capacity, operational efficiency and customer experience.
Job Description
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of aviation infrastructure and capital projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction, commissioning and handover.
Working closely with clients and project teams, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of aviation infrastructure and capital projects.
- Develop and implement project execution plans and delivery strategies.
- Manage project performance across scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality and safety.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors to achieve project objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Manage project governance, reporting and change control processes.
- Support commercial and contract management activities throughout project delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies.
- Coordinate project delivery within live operational environments while minimising disruption to ongoing operations.
- Promote a culture of health, safety, wellbeing and continuous improvement.
- Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate.

Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 10 years' experience delivering infrastructure, engineering, construction or aviation projects of significant scale and complexity.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle, from planning through to completion and handover.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple project interfaces.
- Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, change control and project reporting.
- Experience working within aviation, transportation or other complex operational environments is highly desirable.
- Experience working with NEC contracts would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar planning tools would be beneficial.
Qualifications & Professional Memberships
- Degree qualified in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent.
- Membership of a relevant professional institution such as APM, PMI, RICS, CIOB or Engineers Ireland.
- Chartered status is desirable but not essential.
