We are seeking a temporary Manager, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) to drive the company's forecasting process, working in close partnership with Finance and FP&A stakeholders. This role sits at the intersection of finance operations and systems, owning the EPM platform (e.g., Oracle EPM/Hyperion) that powers budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with hands-on systems expertise to streamline and scale the forecast cycle.
When & Where
This is a contract position approved for 12 months. The role will site on-site in Sleepy Hollow, NY and needs to be in the office four days per week.
Discover Your Role
- Manages the end-to-end rolling forecast process , coordinating timelines, templates, and submissions across Finance and business unit stakeholders.
- Partner closely with FP&A, Accounting, and business leaders to gather assumptions, validate inputs, and ensure forecast accuracy and consistency.
- Administer and continuously improve the EPM platform , including model builds, metadata management, workflow automation, and data integrations with ERP/GL systems.
- Design and maintain forecast models, dashboards, and reporting templates that support monthly/quarterly forecast cycles, annual budgeting, and long-range planning.
- Conduct variance analysis comparing forecast vs. actuals vs. budget, and deliver clear, actionable insights to Finance leadership.
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to reduce cycle time and manual effort in the forecast and planning process.
- Ensure data integrity and governance across the EPM environment, including security, access controls, and audit trails.
- Manage relationships with EPM software vendors and coordinate system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
This Role Requires
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5-9+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial systems, with direct experience running forecast/budget cycles.
- Hands-on experience administering an EPM platform (e.g., Oracle EPM/Hyperion Planning) .
- Strong understanding of financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis concepts.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — able to translate finance requirements into system design and vice versa.
Preferred:
- Prior experience leading an EPM implementation or major system upgrade.
- Experience integrating EPM systems with ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle Fusion, Workday Financials).
- CPA, CFA, or MBA a plus but not required.
What Success Looks Like
- The forecast cycle runs on time, with high data accuracy and minimal manual rework.
- Finance stakeholders trust the EPM system as the single source of truth for forecast data.
- Continuous improvements reduce cycle time and increase self-service reporting capability across the business.
