About this role

Why This Role Exists
Nigeria loses hundreds of millions of dollars every year to production downtime caused by unavailable spare parts. RapidForge was built to eliminate that problem by digitising parts and manufacturing them on demand in Lagos, in hours instead of weeks.
We have the technology. We have the platform. What we need now is someone who already knows every plant manager, maintenance engineer, and procurement lead worth knowing in Lagos and can walk into factories next week and start converting that network into clients.

About RapidForge Nigeria
RapidForge is Nigeria's on-demand industrial manufacturing platform. We offer 3D scanning, reverse engineering, additive manufacturing (3D printing), and CNC machining giving factories across Oil & Gas, FMCG, and Automotive sectors a way to source critical spare parts without waiting on imports or OEM supply chains.
Our core proposition: ‘virtual inventory’ clients store their parts as digital files and we manufacture them on demand. From digital file to physical part in hours.
We are early-stage and Lagos-based. This is your chance to be the person who builds our commercial engine from the ground up.

What Success Looks Like
Twelve months from now, you will have converted your existing industrial network into RapidForge's first reference clients, established us as a trusted vendor in at least two major factory accounts, and put a pipeline in place that gives us predictable monthly revenue. You will know every maintenance and production manager worth knowing in Lagos's major industrial estates.

What You Will Do

- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to signed contract and first delivery, with a focus on FMCG, Oil & Gas, and Automotive sectors
- Activate your existing network of factory-floor contacts plant managers, maintenance engineers, production managers in the first weeks and convert warm relationships into qualified leads
- Conduct on-site visits to factories and industrial estates (Ikeja, Ilupeju, Apapa, Agbara and beyond) to identify downtime pain, assess part requirements, and position RapidForge's capabilities
- Work with the technical team to scope job requirements, communicate lead times, and ensure client expectations are met on every order
- Build and manage a live pipeline, tracking prospects, follow-ups, and conversion metrics transparently with the CEO
- Identify and cultivate introducer relationships MRO suppliers, equipment vendors, engineering consultants who can provide warm referrals
- Represent RapidForge at industry events including MAN Lagos chapter events, NSE gatherings, and trade fairs
What to Know Before You Apply
RapidForge is an early-stage company. There is no existing sales team, no established pipeline, and no proven play-book yet. You will be building from scratch, working directly with the founder, and wearing multiple hats in the early months.
The right person finds that energising. If you need infrastructure, support staff, and a warm lead queue before you can perform, this is not the right role.

What we offer in return
Genuine ownership of the commercial function, a front-row seat at building something new in Nigerian manufacturing, and direct access to leadership from day one.
