Job Description:
What will you work on?
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic decision support for Spin Master's Entertainment business. Acting as a trusted business partner to senior leaders, this role will provide financial insights that drive decision-making while also supporting financial reporting, royalty administration, and other critical finance activities.
How will you create impact?
- Prepare departmental budgets and forecasts consistent with company budgeting and forecasting cycle
- Partner with leaders across Distribution, Development, Production, Business Affairs, Licensing & Marketing, and Franchise Marketing to provide financial guidance, insights, and decision support.
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting, analysis, and presentations that support business performance reviews and executive decision-making.
- Analyze actual results against budget and forecast, identify key drivers of variances, and communicate actionable insights to business and finance leaders.
- Develop and maintain financial models, departmental forecasts, cash flow projections, and other planning tools to support strategic initiatives and resource allocation.
- Track and analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and key performance indicators, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve business outcomes.
- Support the preparation of brand and project-level profit and loss reporting, including financial performance analysis and forecasting.
- Collaborate with the broader Finance team to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company processes and timelines.
- Provide reliable financial data, reporting, and recommendations that enable informed decision-making across the Entertainment organization.
- Support royalty reporting and payment processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely execution.
What are your skills and experience?
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Analysis role
- CPA designation is required or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of Entertainment industry is an asset

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $81,500 to $108,600 Per Hour. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
