We’re looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician who is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in dentistry, dental extractions, and anesthesia . Compensation within the posted range will be based on experience, with particular consideration given to hands-on experience with dental extractions and anesthesia.

Pay Range: $29.00–$33.00/hour, depending on experience

What You’ll Do

- Obtain thorough patient histories and perform TPRs
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, procedures, and patient restraint
- Place IV catheters and obtain blood samples
- Perform and assist with anesthesia, including induction, intubation, monitoring, and aseptic technique
- Perform dental procedures including digital dental radiographs, scaling, and polishing
- Assist with and perform dental extractions
- Take and properly position patients for digital radiographs
- Run in-house laboratory testing, including cytology, fecal testing, HM5, VetScan, and Sedivue
- Provide compassionate client education and communication
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and team-oriented work environment

Requirements

- Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license
- 2+ years of veterinary experience
- Strong technical and patient-care skills
- Hands-on experience with dentistry and dental extractions
- Experience with anesthesia and patient monitoring
- Excellent communication and client-service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced general practice
