Position Type: Short-Term Temporary / Project-Based (Full-Time, ~40 hrs/week)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19 - $20/hour
Job Description
PrideStaff is seeking detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Control Associates for a critical physical inventory project with a local industry-leading waste management company.
Note: While this facility operates in waste management, employees in this role will work exclusively with clean equipment/supplies and will not be exposed to hazardous materials.
This project is scheduled to run full-time (40 hours per week) for approximately 1 to 1.5 weeks with a firm project completion deadline of November 1st .
Key Responsibilities
Perform manual physical inventory counts covering over 6,000 unique SKUs and 30,000+ total individual parts/items.
Reconcile physical inventory on hand against system records to accurately determine stock levels.
Utilize barcode scanners and labeling equipment to tag and track uncatalogued inventory.
Organize and record stock data with a high degree of speed and accuracy to meet strict project milestones.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Previous physical inventory, cycle counting, warehouse, or stockroom experience strongly preferred.
Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong basic math skills, and familiarity with barcode scanning technology.
Punctuality & Reliability: Ability to commit to the full duration of the project (~1–1.5 weeks) and meet daily target counts.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 25–50 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift.
Safety & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Required (Candidate-Provided): Must have and wear steel-toed boots at all times on site.
Provided by Client: Hard hat, safety glasses, and high-visibility safety vest will be supplied upon arrival.
