Job Summary

The Staff Therapist is responsible for providing exceptional clinical services to children, adolescents and/or adults, as assigned, to help Josselyn achieve its vision of Mental health for all. The clinician is held accountable for all related clinical, administrative, quality and compliance responsibilities.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 3 nights 11 AM - 9 PM and 1 night 11 AM - 8 PM OR Tuesday - Saturday: 2 nights until 9 PM required, Saturday 9 AM - 2 PM

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 as determined by the department head and hiring manager with consideration to licensure and experience.

Essential Responsibilities and Metrics

- Provides high-quality, evidenced-based services including therapy, counseling, crisis intervention, case management, and client-centered consultation to a variety of populations from children/adolescents to adults and families

- Maintains direct service hours per month of 63% as measured by billable clinical services including sessions, consultations, assessments, and case management

- Maintains timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, case management activities, consultations, and discharge documentation.

- Ensure documentation is completed within 72 hours from the date of service

- Creates IMCANS Assessment within 30 days of initial meeting with client and modifies/reviews as needed

- Keeps EMR calendar, and any other primary sources, up to date

- Coordinates care with other clinical staff including internal and external providers

- Attends and participates at clinical presentations and all required meetings

- Is responsive to all outreach and coordination regarding client fees/payments

- Participates in Accreditation and Certification processes, Committee Work, Strategic Planning, and Community Related Services as appropriate.

Qualifications

- Clinically related graduate degree, including a Master’s in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work or a degree which qualifies for a QMHP in the state of Illinois required

- Actively working towards licensure as an LCPC or LCSW preferred but not required

- Three professional references that reflect ability to perform clinical work
