Objective

Perform hands-on quality inspections on last-mile delivery vehicles across the Northeast Zone of the United States, ensuring consistent application of inspection standards and timely reporting of findings.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute vehicle quality inspections per approved checklists and acceptance criteria

- Apply defect classification and severity criteria consistently across inspections

- Capture standardized photographic evidence and inspection data via the mobile inspection application

- Perform final inspection / End-of-Line (EOL) style acceptance checks

- Travel within the Northeast Zone to cover multiple delivery station sites

- Escalate critical findings per program protocol

Deliverables

- Completed VIN-level inspection checklists and photographic evidence

- Defect classification records per inspection

- Daily/weekly inspection activity logs

- Escalation reports for critical findings

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

- ASE certification (or equivalent) preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered

- Proven experience in vehicle quality evaluation and inspection

- Experience with final inspection / End-of-Line (EOL) vehicle acceptance processes

- Comfortable using mobile inspection applications and digital documentation tools

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned region

- English proficiency sufficient for technical documentation

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with electric vehicles and high-voltage safety training

- Experience in automotive manufacturing quality or PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) environments

The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, education, and qualifications.
Pay Range $40 — $45 USD
