POSITION SUMMARY:

The Materials Superintendent is responsible for leading all warehouse, inventory control, and material flow operations to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted support of manufacturing activities. This position drives inventory accuracy, material availability, warehouse productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining world-class safety standards.

The role provides strategic and operational leadership for material movement, storage, replenishment, inventory management, and logistics activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives related to safety, customer service, operational excellence, cost control, and working capital optimization.

RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:

Provide strategic leadership for warehouse operations to ensure the attainment of safety, quality, productivity, and inventory targets. Responsible for developing strategies and driving initiatives and projects aligned with the company’s objectives.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

- Provide leadership for all warehouse operations.

- Drive strategic initiatives aligned with business goals using Lean principles and methodologies.

- Lead organizations of 50+ employees through a structured supervisory and leadership team.

- Set performance targets and ensure effective monitoring of warehouse KPIs.

- Champion a culture of safety, accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA or Master's Degree) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Materials, Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Operations.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing managers, supervisors, and large teams.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, or related disciplines preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Advanced English communication skills.

Knowledge

- Extensive knowledge of warehouse, inventory control, material flow, logistics, and supply chain management principles.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence methodologies.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP platforms, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Understanding of safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements applicable to warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of budgeting, resource planning, and performance management practices.
