We are seeking an experienced Outsourced Chief Financial Officer to join our Outsourced Services practice working closely with EA RESIG , focused on real estate private equity fund clients. This is a senior, client-facing advisory role combining strategic financial leadership with fund accounting, reporting, governance, compliance, and real estate expertise.
The Outsourced CFO will advise fund sponsors and general partners on capital strategy, fund structuring, growth planning and major financial decisions while overseeing the financial infrastructure required to operate their funds.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Serve as a trusted CFO advisor to real estate fund sponsors and general partners, providing insight on capital strategy, growth planning, fund economics, and major investment decisions.
- Develop forward-looking financial models, forecasts, and performance insights that guide portfolio strategy, capital allocation, and hold/sell decisions.
- Represent clients in strategic discussions with investors, lenders, and other stakeholders on financing, liquidity, and fund performance.
Fund & Capital Management
- Lead financial oversight across complex real estate funds, investment entities, and properties, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and liquidity planning.
- Oversee capital calls, distributions, capital accounts, preferred returns, and waterfall/promote calculations across LP/GP, co-investment, and joint venture structures.
- Lead investor reporting and performance measurement, including NAV, capital account reporting, IRR, equity multiple, and cash-on-cash returns.
- Provide financial leadership for acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, and other significant transactions.
Fund Governance & Oversight
- Advise fund sponsors on the financial and operational implications of LPAs, operating agreements, and side letters, translating complex provisions into practical reporting, allocation, and waterfall methodologies.
- Oversee third-party fund administrators and other service providers to ensure accurate financial reporting, investor allocations, and compliance with governing documents and US GAAP.
- Establish and strengthen financial policies, processes, internal controls, and reporting practices that support scalable fund operations.
Compliance, Audit & Client Leadership
- Partner with legal and compliance professionals on fund regulatory obligations, including Form ADV and Form PF reporting, AUM calculations, regulatory examinations, and investor due diligence.
- Lead annual audit and tax processes, coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors to support timely financial statements, tax returns, and Schedule K-1s.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial operations, reporting, technology, and controls while directing internal and external resources to deliver results.
- Serve as a senior client leader across multiple engagements, building trusted relationships and bringing a strategic, hands-on CFO perspective to each client’s evolving needs.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 15+ years of accounting and finance experience, including direct experience with real estate private equity fund structures such as fund of funds, joint ventures, and co-investment vehicles
- Experience with fund accounting, capital account maintenance, waterfall or promote calculations, and US GAAP financial reporting for investment funds
- Experience with real estate debt structures, loan covenants, and financing processes
Preferred/Desired Qualifications
- CPA license
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Experience advising fund sponsors, general partners, or ownership on capital strategy, fund structuring, growth planning, or major financial decisions
- Experience interpreting LPAs and side letters and applying economic provisions to accounting, allocations, and reporting
- Experience working with third-party fund administrators, auditors, tax providers, and compliance professionals
- Working knowledge of real estate and fund accounting systems such as Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, or Sage Intacct
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling experience, particularly for real estate investments and fund-level scenarios
