About the Role

The Managing Director, Operations, will  be a key member of the Global Cybersecurity practice’s leadership team and will report directly to the global product leader. This role will oversee ongoing operations and procedures with a specific focus on driving forward the strategic priorities and initiatives.

The goal of the Managing Director, Operations is to secure the functionality of business and to drive extensive and sustainable growth for the practice globally, better enabling the practice leaders to have more client and market facing focus.

Objectives of this Role

- Manage the practice’s ability to respond to business opportunities, by working collaboratively with the Leader in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs, devising ways to continuously improve the ability to attract and win work.
- Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning

- Lead the development of new materials and updates to existing marketing collateral to facilitate business development, supporting solutions, and industries.

- Oversee segment operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met
- Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

- Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the Leader
- Partner with the Leader on sales management to achieve growth targets
- Oversee sales, marketing and BD approach, including pipeline management and sales efforts
- Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement
- Liaise with FLC HR and Finance to ensure appropriate actioning of related issues
- Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting
- Maintain and build trusted relationships with key stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Senior level experience leading multi-disciplinary teams through day-to-day operations, as well as more complex independent projects and have the ability to take a strategic approach
- Understanding of the FTI Consulting business and networks and understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
- International business experience
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
- Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
- A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
- Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues

Compensation
Minimum Pay: $294,500.00
Maximum Pay: $468,500.00

Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role. Actual compensation is determined based on a wide array of relevant factors including market considerations, business needs, and an individual’s location, skills, level of experience, and qualifications.
