Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Monday-Friday 9am-530pm. May require occasional evenings or weekends for groups or special events (once per month). Collaborates closely with PDC leadership and partners with doula and home visiting teams. Reports directly to PDC Supervisor of home visiting and doula program. Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range:
$33.05 - $49.60

Major Responsibilities:

Assessment and clinical interview

- Conduct standardized clinical interviews and administer standardized psychological measures to gather information and assess if mother is eligible for Moving Beyond Depression program.

In-Home Cognitive Behavior Therapy

- Provide IH-CBT to mothers that meet the eligibilities requirements for 15 weekly sessions with a booster session one month after treatment has ended. Attend trainings in IH-CBT provided by MBD. Maintain adherence and fidelity to IH-CBT manual and treatment model.

Data and documentation

- Completion of weekly data entry, clinical case notes, screenings, use of audio recorded sessions, and fidelity checklists.

Collaboration with other professionals

- Maintain open communication with other professionals to ensure the two programs are working together to meet the needs of the mother and child.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification Required:

- Current license of LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) with the State of Illinois Counselor, Social Work, and Marriage & Family Board required. LPCs must be eligible for the LCPC within 6 months of the hire date OR
- Current LSW (Licensed Social Worker) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) with the State of Illinois Social Work Board.

Education Required:

- Master's Degree in clinical counseling program OR
- Master's degree in social work

Experience Required:

- 3 years’ experience working with maternal depression and/or cognitive behavioral therapy.
- Prior experience working with families in the home.
- 3-5 years' experience in clinical social work or counseling (preferred)
- Bilingual preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

- Professional knowledge and clinical ability sufficient to provide psychosocial services to pediatric patients and families.
