Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking highly motivated, curious, and data-savvy interns to join our Product Management teams. As a Product Management Intern, you will work alongside Product Managers, Software Developers, Data Scientists, UX Designers, Researchers, and other cross-functional partners to help discover, develop, and deliver solutions that create meaningful experiences for our customers.
This is an evergreen internship opportunity supporting multiple Product teams across Autodesk. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on Product Management experience while contributing to meaningful projects and learning how products are discovered, developed, launched, and continuously improved at Autodesk.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to support product discovery, development, and delivery
- Gather and synthesize customer, stakeholder, product, and business insights to identify opportunities for new capabilities and product improvements
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to understand product usage, customer behavior, trends, and opportunities
- Define, monitor, and analyze product metrics to support decision-making and evaluate the impact of new or existing capabilities
- Use data and customer insights to validate assumptions and inform product recommendations
- Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, UX, Research, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and help influence product solutions
- Support experimentation and validation activities to test hypotheses and evaluate potential solutions
- Communicate discovery findings, analyses, recommendations, and results clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute to product planning and execution while delivering on project commitments
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, Product Management, or a related field graduating April 2027 or later
- Experience or demonstrated interest in product management, data analytics, data engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience working with data to analyze problems, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage priorities and deliver on commitments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL, data visualization, analytics tools, or similar technologies
- Customer-oriented mindset with an interest in understanding customer needs and translating insights into product opportunities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to support assumptions and recommendations
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
- Curiosity and willingness to learn, experiment, and work through ambiguous problems
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners in a cross-functional environment
- Interest in using technology, data, and emerging capabilities such as AI to create outstanding customer experiences
About the Canada Intern Program
The 2027 Canada Internship Program runs for 16 weeks from January 4 – April 23, 2027. All internships are paid.
