Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Metal Polisher & Buffer skilled in hand polishing and buffing a wide variety of metal parts to high quality and aesthetic standards.

Key Responsibilities Hand Polishing & Buffing: Polish and buff metal parts to precise quality and aesthetic standards. Technical Guidance: Advise on the selection of proper compounds, buffs, polishing wheels, and techniques. Equipment Operation: Operate double-ended polishing/buffing lathes, power hand tools, and Bader polishing machines. Restoration & Refinishing: Perform metal antique refinishing and restoration, particularly with brass objects. Quality Control: Inspect finished products for surface defects and maintain consistent quality. Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe workstation while adhering to shop safety practices and PPE guidelines. Cross-Training: Train on powder coating operations.

Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in hand polishing and buffing various metals (job shop or grinding/deburring experience preferred). Experience working with brass castings is a strong plus. Any prior powder coating experience is a definite plus. Ability to stand for full shifts and perform physical, repetitive manual labor.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $23.00 - $23.00
