Hours: Mon-Fri 9am to 4pm (during training), 7:30am to 4pm once trained

Inventory Management Associate - Position Summary
Our client is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and productive Inventory Associate to manage warehouse stock and support their field operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in receiving, organizing, and preparing commercial building materials—including hollow metal, wood, and FRP doors, frames, hardware, and partitions—for installation and job site delivery.
This is an entry-level position offering paid training, steady day-shift hours, and excellent growth potential within an in-demand trade industry.
Inventory Management Associate - Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Material Handling: Unload incoming shipments, inspect commercial door and hardware materials against purchase orders, log inventory into stock, and organize warehouse space efficiently.
Field Support & Staging: Stage doors, frames, hardware, and tools for field technicians
Inventory Control & Quality Assurance: Take accurate measurements using tape measures, perform basic math calculations, and verify that products meet project specifications prior to release.
Safety & Equipment Maintenance: Adhere strictly to company safety protocols. Ensure tools, safety gear, and warehouse equipment are functional, well-maintained, and readily accessible.
Warehouse Upkeep: Keep work areas, inventory racks, and staging zones clean, safe, and free of scrap or potential hazards.
Inventory Management Associate - Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Credentials: High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Driver’s License required.
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
Experience: Entry-level position; no prior formal work experience is required. Demonstrated aptitude or interest in construction/carpentry techniques and basic hand tools is preferred.
Skills:
Dependability, productivity, and a willingness to learn.
Ability to take accurate measurements with a tape measure and complete basic arithmetic.
Strong ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Inventory Management Associate - Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
Lifting Requirements: Ability to regularly lift, hold, carry, and transport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs independently.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive manual physical labor throughout an entire 8-hour shift in an office environment.
Driving: Ability to safely operate a forklift on occasion (forklift training will be provided)
