The Role and What You’ll Do:

The Head of Product leads the enterprise strategy, governance, and performance optimization of On Location’s global hospitality product portfolio across priority events and rightsholders.

This role positions Product as a core driver of margin-aware strategy and planning, responsible for ensuring product architecture supports commercial performance, operational feasibility, and scalable execution across the business. The SVP establishes structured frameworks to evaluate product investments, strengthen portfolio visibility, and embed analytics into decision-making across the product lifecycle.

Working in close partnership with General Managers and functional leaders across Commercial Strategy, Delivery / Production, Finance, Procurement, and Marketing, this leader ensures product decisions directly support P&L performance, pricing discipline, and enterprise growth priorities.

The Head of Product also leads product innovation and R&D initiatives to evolve On Location’s hospitality offerings and maintain competitive differentiation across global events.

- Enterprise Product Strategy & Portfolio Governance Define and lead the enterprise product strategy across priority events and rightsholders.
- Establish structured portfolio governance frameworks to evaluate product investments based on: Margin contribution

- Ensure product architecture supports enterprise commercial strategy and rightsholder priorities.
- Partner closely with General Managers to align product strategy with event-level and portfolio-level financial performance objectives.

- Margin Visibility & Portfolio Performance Management Position Product as a driver of margin transparency and performance discipline across hospitality offerings.
- Establish frameworks to track: Product-level contribution economics
- Packaging assumptions
- Pricing sensitivities
- Cost drivers and delivery complexity impacts

- Partner with Finance and Revenue Growth Management (Commercial Strategy) to strengthen forecasting assumptions and performance tracking tools.
- Enable proactive portfolio optimization through data-driven decision-making.

- Data & Analytics Integration Expand Product’s role as a data-enabled planning function supporting commercial and operational decision-making.
- Develop analytics capabilities supporting: Product performance dashboards

- Support General Managers with structured insight to inform product strategy trade-offs and investment decisions.

- Early-Stage Commercial & Delivery Alignment Lead early-stage alignment across Commercial, Delivery / Production, Finance, and Procurement to ensure products are: Operationally feasible
- Financially viable
- Scalable across venues and programs

- Establish structured concept validation processes prior to launch commitments.
- Reduce downstream redesign risk through integrated planning discipline.

- Product Innovation & R&D Lead enterprise hospitality innovation strategy across experience formats, packaging structures, and service models.
- Establish a structured R&D capability to pilot and evaluate new product concepts prior to scaling.
- Monitor global premium hospitality and experiential trends to inform future product direction.
- Strengthen differentiation and competitiveness while protecting margin performance.

- Commercial Performance Enablement Partner with Commercial Strategy, Revenue Growth Management, and Sales leadership to ensure product architecture supports revenue quality and pricing discipline.
- Align packaging logic with enterprise pricing strategy and yield optimization frameworks.
- Support development of scalable offerings across: Premium hospitality tiers

- Cross-Functional Operating Model Integration o Serve as the enterprise Product partner to General Managers across major properties.

- Stakeholder Management: Build and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders.
- Performance Management: Monitor performance metrics and provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
- Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate resources to ensure timely and successful delivery of initiatives and operational priorities.
- Values and Culture: Uphold and reinforce company values, ensuring they are reflected in leadership approach, decision-making, and team behaviors.
- Team Development and Succession: Champion employee growth and career development, fostering succession planning and building future leadership capability across the team.

You Have These:

- 12–15+ years of progressive leadership experience across product strategy, hospitality portfolio planning, or commercial program development in global sports, events, experiential, or travel environments.
- Demonstrated success leading margin-aware product strategy tied to P&L performance.
- Strong financial modeling capability with experience evaluating ROI, pricing strategy inputs, and cost structures.
- Experience integrating product planning with delivery feasibility and commercial strategy.
- Track record building analytics-informed product organizations.
- Executive-level stakeholder alignment experience across matrixed environments.
- Ability to influence General Managers and functional leaders to drive business outcomes through product decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership and adaptability, capable of guiding teams through transformation, ambiguity, and complexity.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate strategies and distill complex issues clearly for diverse audiences.
- Exhibits managerial courage to address challenges, make difficult decisions, and provide candid feedback when necessary.
- Displays business maturity and executive presence when engaging with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the hourly rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.


Hiring Rate Minimum:
$225,000 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable State/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum:
$300,000 annually
