POSITION PURPOSE
The Vendor Licensing and Compliance Specialist supports day-to-day compliance operations relating to the Vendor Onboarding and Compliance department. The VCS is responsible for overseeing compliance on various risk-level vendors by following up, answering insurance/compliance-related questions and interfacing with vendor’s insurance providers. The right candidate for this position will have vendor compliance experience, insurance management experience and preferably construction industry knowledge.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Day-to-day compliance requirements to move vendors through onboarding
- Follow-up with prospective vendors and insurance carriers/agents as needed
- Assist vendors with all onboarding questions or issues
- Educate prospects on insurance requirements, industry standards and company processes
- Manage upcoming expirations of insurance and applicable licensing
- Work with Vendor Onboarding Specialists to manage incoming prospective vendors
- Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as request
EDUCATION REQIUREMENT
- High School Diploma or GED
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years of experience in an office environment where primary work responsibilities involved administering a standard work process.
- Ability to work in an environment where many different process transactions are occurring concurrently and accomplish assigned work within the expected timeframes
- Insurance industry knowledge
- Strong computer literacy, including an experience with data entry and associated reporting from business application software.
- Previous experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and property management software
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel (e.g., pivot tables, and VLOOKUPS, etc.); Word (e.g., basic document formatting, etc.); Zoom, Asana (Project Management) and Outlook (e.g., message composition/formatting, meeting scheduling, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to write with clarity to a variety of stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience with Salesforce CRM and Yardi Vendor Café
