What You Will D o:

- Understand and comply with Solar and customer health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) policies, procedures and work permit requirements.
- Participate in safety and toolbox meetings, complete required safety training and recommend opportunities to improve safe work practices.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, call-out services and commissioning support in accordance with Solar Engineering specifications, recommendations and best practices.
- Recognize mechanical and electrical abnormalities, identify potential safety risks and take appropriate action to prevent hazards or equipment damage.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues using sound judgment, established procedures, drawings, technical manuals and available sources of technical advice.
- Repair and adjust minor mechanical and electrical components and systems, individually or in collaboration with other field service representatives.
- Provide technical assistance to operations and maintenance crews as business needs require.
- Prepare accurate daily reports, maintain equipment history records and communicate work status, pending activities, staffing needs and material requirements.
- Coordinate required parts, submit material requisitions and support efficient execution with minimal equipment downtime.
- Use the Workforce Management process and system to manage work orders, pre-work activities, site safety information, availability, time reporting, technical changes, daily reports and task libraries.
- Maintain effective communication with immediate supervision and customer representatives, as applicable.

- Mechanical Maintenance: Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, testing, diagnostics, repair and replacement of mechanical equipment used in power generation or oil and gas operations.
- Safety: Strong knowledge of safe work practices and the ability to identify hazards, support inspections, communicate requirements and initiate corrective action.
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC): Basic understanding of PLC concepts, applications and control functions.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Working knowledge of troubleshooting methods, diagnostic tools, technical documentation and standard resolution procedures.

Basic Requirements :

- Technical Degree or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Marine Engineering, Aviation Engineering, or related field.
- Typically, 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
- Experience working in overseas, offshore, remote, or field service environments.
- Experience with gas turbines and turbomachinery maintenance.
- Familiarity with rotating equipment and PLC systems through mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation experience.
- Ability to work across multiple disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls.
- Knowledge of gas turbine theory and operating practices, including control system logic, driven equipment, and upstream and downstream processes.
- Ability to perform basic PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in field service environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required medical, survival, and technical certifications, including offshore certifications where applicable.
- High Intermediate English proficiency.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related discipline.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Valid passport.
- Valid B1/B2 Visa.
- Experience performing gas turbine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with turbomachinery overhauls and major maintenance activities.
- Experience supporting commissioning, start-up, and field service operations.
- Previous experience working directly with customers in industrial, power generation, oil & gas, or energy environments.

Additional Information:

- Travel requirement: This position requires extensive travel within the assigned territory and potentially to other locations as business needs dictate. The successful candidate must be available to work on rotational schedules and spend extended periods at customer sites. Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergency call-outs when required.
