What we are looking for:

Fiera Infrastructure is seeking an Analyst to join its Asset Management team in Toronto. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across the full investment lifecycle while gaining direct exposure to valuation processes, strategic initiatives, refinancing transactions, acquisitions, divestitures, and investor reporting. Successful candidates will work closely with senior members of the investment and asset management teams and have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions from the outset. Your responsibilities:

- Developing, maintaining, and operating complex financial models for purposes of managing and reporting on infrastructure companies and funds;
- Performing detailed investment sensitivity and performance analysis for asset and fund level metrics;
- Prepare reporting to investors and co-investors;
- Co-ordinating asset onboardings, drafting investment updates, and maintaining portfolio information and reporting databases;
- Supporting post-acquisition investment monitoring and asset management activities;
- Working with the team on value creation opportunities, such as refinancings, add-on acquisitions and divestitures;
- Supporting monthly and annual valuation processes, including preparation of valuation analyses and coordination with external valuation providers and auditors;
- Supplement investor relations and fundraising teams, including assisting with responses to current and prospective investor questions; and
- Assisting with special projects and strategic initiatives as they arise.

Must have requirements to be successful in this role:

- Undergraduate degree with outstanding academic achievement; a focus in business, finance, or engineering is preferred.
- One to three years of experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure investing, valuations, transaction advisory, pension investing, or management consulting.
- Exposure to the infrastructure, energy, transportation, utilities, or other real asset sectors is preferred.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, including experience building and maintaining detailed valuation, operating, and cash flow models.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Additional Information:

- Our workplace model includes 4 days a week in the office, Monday through Thursday.
- The salary range for this position is $98,000- $115,000. This role is also eligible for additional compensation, including bonuses and employee benefits. This salary range is for Ontario.
- Position opening reason: Replacement.

For roles based in Quebec (Montreal and Laval), proficiency in spoken and written French is required. A working knowledge of English is also necessary to collaborate with our global teams and clients.
