About this role

If you were the Retail Training and Communications Coordinator, Operational Solutions now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

- Partnering with Training & Communications Program Managers to gather information, track action items, and ensure alignment on projects and programs, both initiative and cyclical

- Supporting the coordination and delivery of NAM Retail Training initiatives, including core and cyclical training programs

- Coordinating NAM Retail Communications, ensuring stores receive clear, accurate, and timely information

- Supporting the planning and logistics of training and learning events, including timelines, milestones, and on-the-ground coordination

- Maintaining accurate data set for the NAM Retail Training & Communications team’s day-to-day programs and initiatives

- Partnering with the Senior Manager, Retail Training and Communications – NAM and cross-functional stakeholders to gather information, track action items, and ensure alignment on projects

- Supporting the development and improvement of processes to keep pace with a high growth organization

- Supporting the rollout of new retail programs, systems, and operating procedures

- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce operational complexity for stores

- Partnering on initiatives supporting business growth, and evolving retail operating models

- Contributing to continuous improvement projects that improve the store experience and operational effectiveness

Are you the next Retail Training and Communications Coordinator, Operational Solutions?

- You are fluent in English and French (spoken and written)

- You have a degree or post-secondary education in business, communications, education, or a related field, or equivalent experience

- You have 2+ years of experience in coordination, communications, or project coordination

- You have 2+ years of experience working in a retail environment

- You are exceptionally organized, with an eye for detail and accuracy

- You are open and approachable, with a customer-service focused mentality

- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization

- You can multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage priorities while working in a fast-paced environment

- You have strong project coordination skills and are comfortable tracking timelines, tasks, and deliverables

- Experience planning or supporting learning events – including the logistics, lead-up, and milestones involved – is a strong asset

- Experience working within a communications or training function is a strong asset

- You are proficient in tools like Excel, AI tools, PowerPoint, Word, and Smartsheet; experience with Zipline or similar employee communication platforms is a strong asset

- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity

- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is: CAD$82,000 - CAD$108,000
