RefrigiWear is looking for an Inside Sales Leader to work out of our Dahlonega office location!
The Inside Sales Leader is responsible for building, leading, and developing a high-performing inside sales organization that serves as a meaningful driver of revenue growth. This role will work closely with the SVP of Sales to establish the strategy, structure, processes, performance expectations, and culture necessary to create a scalable and results-oriented inside sales team. Working closely with the SVP of Sales and broader sales leadership team, the Inside Sales Leader will identify opportunities to increase customer acquisition, account penetration, revenue growth, sales productivity, and overall sales effectiveness. The role will also partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and other internal teams to remove barriers to growth and deliver consistent customer experience. The Inside Sales Leader will recruit, coach, develop, and retain top sales talent while creating a culture of accountability, urgency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This leader will establish clear sales objectives and performance metrics/KPI’s, provide consistent coaching and feedback, and ensure the team has the tools, training, and resources necessary to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Develop the Inside Sales Team: Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a high-performing inside sales team with clear goals, expectations, KPIs, and accountability.
- Drive Sales Performance & Growth: Establish sales strategies, processes, and performance standards that drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, account development, retention, and sales productivity.
- Build a High-Performance Sales Culture: Create a culture of accountability, urgency, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus through consistent coaching and performance management.
- Leverage CRM (HubSpot) and other Sales Analytics & Reporting: Drive CRM adoption, develop and maintain sales reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics that provide leadership with clear visibility into performance, trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Optimize Sales Processes: Continuously improve sales workflows, tools, systems, and processes to increase efficiency, responsiveness, conversion, and scalability.
- Oversee Pricing & Customer Data: Ensure pricing, customer information, procurement portals, and related sales data are accurate, current, and properly maintained.
- Manage Sales Compensation: Oversee the accuracy and timely administration of sales commissions, bonuses,
- Support Strategic Sales Opportunities: Coordinate targeted call campaigns, leverage internal resources and information required for RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, pricing initiatives, and other strategic customer opportunities.
- Partner Across the Organization: Work closely with Field Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Customer Service, and other internal teams to improve execution and support customer and revenue objectives.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate inefficiencies, improve data accuracy, and increase the overall effectiveness and scalability of the sales organization that impact the team's ability to respond quickly and effectively to customers.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree preferred 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with demonstrated success leading an inside sales, business development, or similar sales organization.
- Proven experience recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining high-performing sales professionals.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable revenue growth and improving sales team performance.
- Experience establishing sales processes, KPIs, reporting, forecasting, and performance management disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to build structure and processes in a growing or evolving organization. Experience building or transforming an inside sales organization rather than simply managing an established team.
- Experience leading teams through growth, organizational change, or implementation of new sales processes and technology.
- Desired experience B2B sales and in 1 or more of the following: distribution, manufacturing, foodservice, logistics, or another complex sales environment
- Demonstrated experience using data and technology to improve sales productivity and scalability.
Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and other MS programs
- Proficiency with CRM, ERP, sales reporting, and other sales technology platforms.
- Strong understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, account segmentation, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue expansion.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and business acumen, with the ability to translate sales data into actionable insights.
