Job Title: Project Manager Job Description This Project Manager role focuses on leading the design, development, and modernization of a manufacturing facility. The position oversees product design and development, capital equipment engineering, ERP system implementation, facility construction and infrastructure, and plant operations management. The Project Manager takes ownership of production, quality, and compliance while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external construction management partners to deliver a modern, efficient, and compliant plant environment. Responsibilities

- Lead product design and development initiatives to support the modernization and efficient operation of the facility.
- Own production management, ensuring that processes, workflows, and resources are aligned with project goals and operational requirements.
- Manage capital equipment engineering, including layout of machines, equipment selection, and purchasing to support modernization and plant expansion.
- Coordinate supplier contracting and selection, ensuring vendors meet project, quality, and compliance standards.
- Oversee ERP system implementation, working with stakeholders to ensure successful integration into plant operations.
- Direct facility construction and infrastructure projects, collaborating closely with outside construction management companies to modernize and expand the plant.
- Take ownership of quality and compliance, ensuring that all projects and operations adhere to relevant standards and internal policies.
- Manage plant operations related to modernization projects, aligning operational changes with capital projects and facility upgrades.
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects, maintaining strict adherence to scope, budget, quality, and schedule.
- Analyze and interpret project and operational data, using spreadsheets and other tools to support decision-making and reporting.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external construction management partners to ensure alignment, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.
- Oversee work involving physical installation and access to low-voltage and energized systems, ensuring safe and compliant execution by appropriate personnel.
- Serve as a consultant for the duration of the contract, providing expert guidance and leadership throughout the facility modernization effort.

Essential Skills

- Proven experience in project management with responsibility for scope, budget, quality, and schedule across multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience in construction management, particularly in coordinating with external construction management companies on facility projects.
- Hands-on experience with capital equipment projects, including machine layout, equipment selection, and purchasing.
- Demonstrated experience in facility modernization, plant expansion, and capital projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work confidently with data, including reviewing, analyzing, and presenting information using spreadsheets.
- Capability to oversee work involving physical installation and access to low-voltage and energized systems, ensuring safe and compliant practices.
- Bachelor's degree.

- Experience owning production management processes in a plant or manufacturing setting.
- Experience in capital equipment engineering and plant operations management.
- Familiarity with ERP system implementation and integration into manufacturing operations.
- Experience managing quality and compliance in an industrial or production environment.
- Prior involvement in facility construction and infrastructure projects.
- Comfort working as a consultant on a defined-term engagement.
- Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Work Environment This role is based in a plant and facility environment undergoing modernization and expansion. The Project Manager works closely with internal operations, engineering, and quality teams, as well as external construction management companies and equipment suppliers. The position involves overseeing physical installations and projects that may include work on low-voltage and energized systems, requiring attention to safety and compliance. The schedule aligns with standard business hours, with flexibility to meet project deadlines and coordinate with construction and operations activities. The engagement is structured as a 12-month contract, with vacation and holiday benefits offered, providing a professional consulting environment focused on delivering a modern, efficient, and well-structured facility.

This is a Contract position based out of Franklin, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $112320.00 - $133120.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
