Project Manager Job Description This fully remote Project Manager role focuses on leading the end-to-end deployment of UKG Pro Workforce Management (formerly Dimensions) across multi-site manufacturing operations in Mexico and Costa Rica. The position requires deep expertise in workforce management and HRIS platforms, with a strong understanding of Free Trade Zone manufacturing environments, regional labor regulations, and complex, round-the-clock factory shift logistics. You will ensure that the time-tracking ecosystem is precisely aligned with local labor codes, payroll integrations, and industrial scheduling requirements, delivering a robust, compliant, and scalable solution for global operations. Responsibilities

- Own the comprehensive software implementation lifecycle for the UKG Pro Workforce Management solution across manufacturing sites in Mexico and Costa Rica, from initial planning through deployment and stabilization.
- Align system configuration and business logic with the specialized tax, auditing, and time-tracking constraints associated with Free Trade Zones, including regimes such as Regimen de Zona Franca in Costa Rica.
- Collaborate closely with local payroll and HR teams to configure system rules that satisfy regional labor compliance, including Mexicos Ley Federal del Trabajo (LFT) requirements such as overtime caps, holiday shifts, and premium pay, as well as Costa Ricas strict labor regulations.
- Lead cross-border technical workstreams to integrate UKG data outputs with global payroll platforms, localized ERP systems, and regional banking interfaces, ensuring seamless and secure data flow.
- Translate complex industrial operations needssuch as 24/7 continuous shift coverage, rotating line schedules, skill-based line placement, and localized meal and break structuresinto accurate and maintainable system configurations.
- Direct the remote configuration, testing, and deployment of biometric time-collection terminals and mobile geo-fenced applications across secure facility checkpoints in multiple locations.
- Design and execute detailed, multi-currency user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts to validate system performance, data accuracy, and compliance across different sites and stakeholder groups.
- Lead multi-week parallel payroll testing cycles to compare legacy and new system outputs, identify discrepancies, and drive resolution to ensure a defect-free migration.
- Coordinate with regional project leads, plant floor stakeholders, and global functional teams to manage timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the implementation.
- Produce clear project documentation, status reports, and implementation plans that support transparent communication and effective decision-making across technical and business stakeholders.

Essential Skills

- Bachelor's Degree plus at least 4 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- A minimum of 6 years of IT Project Management experience, specifically leading enterprise-scale Workforce Management (WFM) or HRIS platform rollouts.
- Demonstrated success leading at least one complete lifecycle implementation or migration of UKG Pro Workforce Management (formerly Dimensions).
- Strong project management expertise, including planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder communication, and delivery in complex technical environments.
- Proven experience managing projects in high-volume, multi-shift manufacturing, assembly, or industrial logistics facilities.
- Direct, hands-on experience deploying business software platforms into corporate entities located in both Mexico and Costa Rica.
- Professional working fluency in English, with the ability to lead meetings, produce documentation, and coordinate with global stakeholders.
- Professional working fluency in Spanish to effectively collaborate with regional project leads, plant personnel, and local functional teams.
- Solid knowledge of workforce management software and HRIS platforms, including configuration and integration concepts.
- Understanding of employment law and labor regulations relevant to workforce management, particularly in Mexico and Costa Rica.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and align working hours with Americas time zones.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- PMP Certification that demonstrates formal project management training and adherence to recognized methodologies.
- Experience working with UKG platforms and related workforce management solutions.
- Prior hands-on experience with Kronos systems and tools.
- medical device or similarly regulated manufacturing environments, supporting structured and compliant operations.
- Experience with cross-border implementations and integrations involving global payroll, ERP systems, and regional banking interfaces.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve configuration issues and data discrepancies during implementation and testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional, multilingual teams in different countries.
- Well-established remote home office infrastructure that supports reliable connectivity, secure access, and productive work habits.

Work Environment This role is 100% remote and requires alignment with Americas time zones to effectively collaborate with stakeholders in Mexico, Costa Rica, and global locations. You will work from a dedicated home office environment with reliable internet connectivity and secure access to enterprise systems. The position involves extensive virtual collaboration with plant operations, HR, payroll, and IT teams, using digital communication tools and project management platforms. You will oversee the remote deployment and configuration of technologies such as UKG Pro Workforce Management, biometric time-collection terminals, and mobile geo-fenced applications, supporting complex, multi-shift manufacturing operations in Free Trade Zone environments.

This is a Contract position based out of Remote, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
