Help shape the future of education and surgeon engagement. As a Customer Excellence Manager, you will build and strengthen relationships with teaching institutions, faculty, fellows, residents, and early-career surgeons across a dynamic western territory. Acting as a key partner between Medical Education, Sales, and academic centers, you will develop and execute customer engagement strategies that support surgeon development, enhance educational experiences, and create meaningful connections throughout the physician training journey. This highly collaborative role is ideal for a relationship-focused professional who understands the orthopaedic landscape, thrives in front of customers, and is passionate about influencing the next generation of surgical leaders
The preferred candidate will be located in the Western region.
What you will do:
• Manage internal and external resources that supports an overarching strategic direction
• Product and procedural expertise related to HCP education programs
• Understanding and knowledge of key competitive landscape
• Collaborate with key opinion leaders to design educational materials
• Responsible for developing and managing customer-facing strategy, content and education programs
• Drive team collaboration with broader Medical Education/product marketing/sales training, etc
• Lead Medical Education program coordination, logistics and content delivery
• Organize and deliver in-class or virtual courses
• Identify and analyze Medical Education program metrics to identify effectiveness
• Contribute meaningful input into the strategic direction for Medical Education
• Identify potential areas of opportunity for new investments
• Develop KOL network, VOC and survey to gather customer feedback
• Understand and provide input to training and Medical Education workstreams
• Allocate support and resources to leverage programs
• Develop Medical Education programs while adapting to customer needs and business priorities
• Understand the different communication channel strategies and associated impacts
• Articulate desired communications outcomes consistent with Medical Education strategy
What you will need:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 6+ years of work experience required
Preferred:
• MBA preferred
• 3+ years medical device or Medical Education experience preferred
• Orthopaedic experience preferred
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
