Texas Instruments (TI) is looking for an experienced Financial Planning Analyst to join our SBE Finance team. At TI, the role of the Financial Planning Analyst drives financial excellence for the business. Financial Planning Analysts act as a strategic partner to management, providing the critical information and analysis necessary to drive P&L results and make high-impact business decisions. This role provides leadership in financial forecasting, investment ROI assessment, efficiency improvements and the development of predictive indices to support a rapidly evolving business landscape.
Responsibilities include:
- Driving Business Results: Take an active role in driving the results of the business unit P&L through rigorous analysis, forecasting, and strategic insight.
- Strategic Engineering Partnership: Partner closely with the engineering team to assess the ROI of technical investments, ensuring capital and resources are allocated to the highest-value opportunities.
- Senior Leadership Engagement: Regularly prepare and present financial performance, strategic outlooks, and key business drivers to senior leadership.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead all financial planning activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.
- Financial Integrity: Drive financial excellence by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of business results, including cross-functional partnering to ensure financial compliance.
- Operational Connectivity: Understand and explain the complex relationship between operational performance, engineering milestones, and financial results.
- Strategic Insight: Provide a strategic view of the business by incorporating competitive analysis and market trends to drive financial performance.
- Process Innovation: Drive continuous process improvement and automation in financial processes and reporting to increase agility and accuracy.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in finance or accounting, semiconductor or business unit financial planning & analysis a plus
- Advanced systems knowledge and skills, including Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex data to senior executives.
- Outstanding analytical skills, critical and creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to build strong, influential relationships and collaborate effectively across diverse functions (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Sales).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Semiconductor industry experience.
- Experience with SAP/BPC.
- Proficient with SQL/Python, Spotfire, and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong leadership, initiative, and the ability to drive for results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
