Skills and Experience:

- Sharp news judgment and a strong understanding of what matters to local audiences
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, including knowledge of AP style
- Ability to tell impactful stories on deadline
- Excellent shooting, editing and technical skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative newsroom
- Ability to develop sources and enterprise stories beyond the daily news cycle
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record

Requirements and Qualifications:

- A minimum of two years of professional reporting experience is required
- Experience with LiveU is a plus
- Experience creating content for digital and social platforms is strongly preferred
