Under minimal supervision, provides advanced paralegal services to Global Law & Compliance ("GLC") attorneys and business clients involving complex regulatory, compliance, corporate and legal matters. Responsible for coordinating regulatory filings, monitoring compliance obligations and deadlines, conducting legal and regulatory research, maintaining regulatory records, and supporting interactions with regulators, attorneys and stakeholders. Responsible for meeting deadlines and managing time-sensitive filings and matters.
Principle Duties
- Collaborates and supports GLC attorneys, paralegals, and business clients by providing high-quality, value-added and timely paralegal services involving complex matters, issues or projects; meets or exceeds reasonable client expectations and deadlines.
- Serves as a knowledge resource for clients, paralegals with less experience or knowledge, and other members of GLC regarding regulatory requirements, filing obligation, procedures and processes.
- Assists in preparing, reviewing, organizing, and maintaining regulatory records and other essential legal documents.
- Prepares and coordinates with internal business partners the review, signatures, notarization, and submission of regulatory filings, applications, notices, reports, and related documentation.
- Ensures proper indexing, retention, and filing of legal records and maintains supporting documentation for regulatory and compliance matters.
- Monitors regulatory filing deadlines and reporting obligations to support timely and accurate submissions; maintains filing calendar, compliance trackers, and regulatory databases.
- Supports responses to regulatory inquiries, and requests for information; coordinates collection of information and supporting documentation and monitors follow-up requirements and deadlines.
- Assists with legal, regulatory, due diligence, and other special projects as assigned.
- Researches and analyzes complex legal and regulatory issues and questions using statutes, regulations, administrative guidance, filing instructions and other legal authorities; prepares summaries, recommendations, and supporting materials for attorney review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) from an accredited university or college or equivalent work experience
- Certified Paralegal
- 8+ Years of experience as a paralegal supporting regulatory filings and compliance in a highly regulated industry

- Experience in implementing change within an organization, ensuring understanding, participation, and ownership.
- Highly advanced oral and written communication skills including presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to convey information in a way that is meaningful and well received by stakeholders and team members.

- Experience in a global business enterprise with operations on various continents, time zones, legal systems, and cultures.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with regulatory filings (Forms 11, 12, 14, B, C, D, F, and CGAD among others), processes, submission process, compliance requirements, and records management.
- Strong legal and regulatory research and analytical skills.
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple regulatory matters, deadlines, and reporting obligations simultaneously.
- Current Notary Public or ability to meet Notary Republic requirements of Missouri.

Compensation Range:
$78,080.00 - $110,860.00 Annual
Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
