Position Title: Renovation Technician

Hourly: $16-$18.50

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Who you are:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Have some Technical Schooling and/or background preferred
- Minimum of one-year experience building construction, maintenance, or general labor services
- Knowledge of equipment used in construction or other related work
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with others
- Able to learn simple tasks
- Able to operate hand and power tools
- Able to lift and carry equipment or materials applicable to the assigned work
- Able to understand oral and written instructions
- Able to read and follow blueprints and diagrams

Summary:

The Renovation Technician is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the renovations department. Conducting under supervisor direction, construction-related tasks such as carpentry, drywall installation, tape bedding, texturing, painting, and form setting.

Essential Job Duties:

- Remodel / Unit Turnover
- Assists with apartment turnover.
- Supports unit renovations through demo, framing, minor repairs, trim work, hauling/cleanup, and general jobsite assistance.
- May operate company truck for the purpose of transporting workers, construction materials, and light equipment
- Performs general maintenance duties, such as: carpentry, drywall installation, tape bedding, texturing, painting, and form setting
- Completes assigned work orders daily according to work order system policy
- Performs minor building and equipment repairs
- Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition
- Accomplishes work in the order of priority set by supervisor
- Assists, during winter, with snow removal efforts
- Performs daily tasks in a safe and workman-like manner in accordance with company policies
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
