company

Order.co is the System of Action for the Office of the CFO, transforming the way businesses purchase and pay into an intuitive, B2C-like shopping experience. Order.co leverages embedded AI agents and embedded financial products to reinvent the way businesses connect with their vendors.

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in New York City, Order.co oversees nearly half a billion in annualized spend across hundreds of customers like WeWork, SoulCycle, Lume, and [solidcore] . Order.co has raised $75M in funding from industry-leading investors like MIT, Stage 2 Capital, Rally Ventures, 645 Ventures, and more. Order.co has been proudly named a 50 to Watch by Spend Matters and a Best Place to Work by BuiltIn and Inc. Magazine.

role

The opportunity

As a BDR, you'll be on the front line of Order.co's growth.

You'll identify companies that could benefit from Order.co, find the right people within those organizations, and start conversations about how they're managing purchasing today.

Most of those conversations will start with a cold call. You'll also use email, social media, research, and creative outreach to get in front of prospective customers.

Your goal is simple: create qualified opportunities for our Account Executives. Along the way, we'll teach you the fundamentals of B2B sales — how to prospect, ask great questions, communicate value, handle objections, and earn the next conversation.

What you'll own

- Research and identify prospective Order.co customers
- Make 60+ outbound calls per day to connect with prospective customers and create new opportunities
- Use email, social media, and other channels alongside calling to engage potential buyers
- Learn how businesses manage purchasing today and identify where Order.co could help
- Generate qualified meetings and opportunities for Account Executives
- Partner with AEs on account strategy and creative ways to break into target companies
- Learn Order.co's product, customers, and the problems we solve
- Develop your skills in prospecting, discovery, messaging, and objection handling
- Work toward clear activity and meeting goals
- Use coaching, call reviews, and feedback to continuously improve
- Share what you're hearing in the market so we can keep getting better as a team

What makes someone successful here

You're coachable. You want feedback. You don't need to have all the answers, and when someone shows you a better way to do something, you apply it.

You work hard. Sales requires repetition. You're willing to put in the reps, stay consistent, and keep going when results don't come immediately.

You learn quickly. You're curious, ask good questions, and can take something you've learned and apply it to a new situation.

You're competitive. You like having a goal, knowing where you stand, and figuring out what you need to do to improve.

You're resilient. You're going to hear "no." A lot. You don't let one bad call or one bad day determine what you do next.

You take ownership. When something isn't working, your first instinct is to figure out why and what you can do differently.

What you bring

- Strong written and verbal communication
- Curiosity and a willingness to ask questions
- A track record of working hard toward something that mattered to you
- Comfort being measured against clear goals
- The ability to take feedback and put it into practice
- Persistence when things don't go your way
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- A desire to learn and build a career in sales

Previous sales experience is not required. Your examples don't have to come from another sales job — they can come from school, athletics, internships, part-time jobs, clubs, side projects, or anything else where you've had to learn, compete, improve, or work hard toward a goal.

Why start your sales career at Order.co?

We're not hiring you because we expect you to already know how to sell. We're hiring for the potential to become great at it.

You'll join a team where you'll get hands-on coaching, learn the building blocks of B2B sales, and have clear expectations for what success looks like. If you're willing to learn, put in the work, and keep getting better, you'll have the opportunity to build the foundation for a career in sales at Order.co.

What you’ll receive:

- A competitive compensation package including base and uncapped variable components
- The opportunity to grow quickly within the GTM organization
- Employer-sponsored 401(k)
- A deep knowledge and understanding of selling a SaaS B2B product in the purchasing and payment space
- The opportunity to grow and perform in a fast-paced environment alongside a stellar team
- Flexible time off and remote work policies
- Robust medical, dental, vision, and wellness benefits
- Generous leave policies and support for new and current parents
- The anticipated annual salary range for this role is $90,000 OTE. Actual compensation and title will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
