About this role

Job Title: Electrical Test Engineer Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to lead the development of test cases, plans, and procedures for electronic devices incorporating Bluetooth and Near Field Communications (NFC). The candidate will work independently but will have support from the larger team to ensure successful project outcomes. Responsibilities

- Develop test cases, plans, and procedures for electronics validation and verification efforts.
- Lead the testing of electronic devices incorporating Bluetooth and NFC technologies.
- Oversee the development and implementation of production-level test rigs and setups for regulated products.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to support test devices in production environments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in testing environments such as medical device, defense, automotive, aerospace, and aviation.

Essential Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in electrical test engineering.
- Proficiency in developing and overseeing production-level test setups.
- Strong knowledge of Bluetooth (especially low power Bluetooth) and NFC technologies.
- Experience with test equipment such as LabView, oscilloscopes, and ASICs.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience in a regulated environment.
- Strong background in hardware testing and validation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Germantown, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $76.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
