To strengthen our Immunology department we are looking for a talented profile to fill the position of: Medical Strategy and Solution Lead Dermatology – Milan, Italy.
About the role
You will be responsible for developing the medical component of the local Patient Value (Brand) Plan, ensuring excellence in all medical content by leveraging relevant inputs and strategic guidance from European teams.
You will also lead the implementation of medical initiatives and non-promotional activities outlined in the Patient Value Plan (PVP), partnering closely with local cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to deliver meaningful solutions that create value for patients and the broader healthcare ecosystem.

You will collaborate closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to drive the successful execution of the Patient Value Plan. This includes partnering with local cross-functional teams such as Medical Affairs, Patient Value Unit (PVU) members, Market Access, Commercial, and Medical Scientific Liaisons (MSLs), while also connecting with European teams to adapt and implement medical solutions locally. You will engage with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and other external stakeholders to develop impactful, patient-centered initiatives and ensure alignment between local needs and European strategy.
What you will do
- Build strategic anchored cross functional solutions that will create Patient Value in the Local Ecosystem
- Drive Local projects and implement Local initiatives that provides insights and ideas for Initiatives for the LPVU teams
- Link with EU Engine/Solutions - from strategy to execution - driving the Patient Value Brand plan on the Area level
- Help Local Patient Value Unit translate command of relevant medical, scientific and demographic literature on served patient populations, and knowledge of commonly used diagnostics and therapeutics into improved physician engagement and value creation
- Create systems to help Local Patient Value Unit identify and collect pertinent insights into stakeholder challenges and priorities, and incorporate into development plans and support strategies
- Facilitate information sharing and discussion among Local Patient Value Unit to raise comfort and competence in speaking to non-clinical issues and applying to stakeholder development plans
- Coach Local Patient Value Unit Members on how to discover and use information about stakeholder strategies and business priorities to improve value creation
- Translates PVU strategies and priorities for all Local Patient Value Unit members and shows how to apply to development plans and day-to-day activities.
- Continually links plans and challenges back to patient value creation and PVU strategic drivers
- Shares patient value creation successes between all Local Patient Value Unit members to promote best practices
- Works with Leads and Local Patient Value Unit to ensure that appropriate tools and information are available to support goals
- Ensures that appropriate resources are available to Local Patient Value Unit implement against growth plans
- Promotes cross-disciplinary coordination to ensure stakeholders and patients receive benefit of a rich, integrated value creation effort
- Communicates the vision and sense of purpose with enthusiasm, and ensures strategic priorities are understood and acted upon
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills
- Bachelors’ degree in life sciences, business or healthcare is required
- Fluent English communication (oral and written)
- At least five years of experience in stakeholder-facing or healthcare marketing roles
- Understanding of applicable regulatory and market access/HTA guidelines
- Capability to communicate effectively and to choose the relevant channels to perform it
- Proven track record of developing high impact solutions in line with ecosystem drivers
- Demonstrated strength in business planning, tactical plan development and execution
