About this role

The Inside Sales Representatives work to promote and sell Chappell Supply and Equipment (CSE) products. This is accomplished through approaching current and future customers. Support from an existing client base, along with future clients and trade show contacts help secure monthly sales goals in the sale of industrial pressure washers, hydraulic hoses, waste water systems and various related products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Interact with the public to promote and sell all products.

- Become informed about product use through in-house training.

- Follow through with commitments and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Handle customer feedback while showing a positive attitude.

- Be able to understand and demonstrate the vast uses for products sold.

- Be able to close business and meet sales goals.

- Maintains procedures and processes in order to ensure compliance with Companys quality standards.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Familiar with accounting software for placing and tracking orders

- Proficient with Microsoft applications

- Have proven sales experience and stable work history

- Be a self-starter, ethical and professional phone etiquette.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Be able to lift up to 15 pounds

- Be able to frequently stand, sit and move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 percent of the time.

- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.

- Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.

- Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology

- Have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and check results.

- Ability to compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports and/or to orally communicate technical information.

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be detail oriented.

- Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information

- Have the ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology

- Ability to complete sales orders and routine forms on the computer as well as conduct routine oral communication in person or over the phone

- Able to compute, analyze and interpret numerical data for reporting purposes

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and record, balance and check results for accuracy.
