Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Service Technician - Mechanical based in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

You’ll be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, and testing of Aggreko diesel generators, engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, load banks, and associated equipment.

The position ensures equipment reliability, operational readiness, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction through the effective execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

What you’ll do as a Service Technician - Mechanical:

1. Equipment Maintenance

- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on diesel generators and related equipment.
- Conduct equipment inspections and condition assessments.
- Carry out servicing activities including oil changes, filter replacement, coolant replacement, and lubrication.
- Execute engine rebuilds, overhauls, and component replacement as required.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with manufacturer and company standards.

2. Troubleshooting and Repairs

- Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults on power generation equipment.
- Troubleshoot diesel engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, exhaust systems, and auxiliary equipment.
- Conduct emergency breakdown repairs and field service support.
- Perform operational testing following repair activities to verify equipment performance.
- Recommend corrective and preventive measures to improve equipment reliability.

3. Fleet Readiness and Deployment Support

- Prepare generators and ancillary equipment for deployment to customer sites.
- Support commissioning and decommissioning activities.
- Complete pre-dispatch and return inspections.
- Ensure equipment is maintained in a clean, serviceable, and deployment-ready condition.
- Accurately complete maintenance reports and service documentation.

4. Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (QHSE)

- Comply with all company QHSE procedures and standards.
- Follow Energy Safety Rules, Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), and safe work practices.
- Properly utilize prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in toolbox meetings, risk assessments, and safety initiatives.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards using 5S principles.
- Immediately report hazards, incidents, and near misses.

5. Spare Parts and Tool Control

- Maintain accountability for assigned tools and workshop equipment.
- Identify and request required spare parts and maintenance consumables.
- Support inventory management and stock control activities.
- Ensure proper care, storage, and calibration of tools and equipment.
- Report defective or damaged tools for repair or replacement.

6. Customer and Operational Support

- Provide technical support during site installations and service activities.
- Respond promptly to customer breakdown calls and emergency repairs.
- Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, Procurement, and Service teams.
- Maintain professional working relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop and field operations.

You are:

- Technical/Vocational Diploma in Mechanical Technology, Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology, or related discipline.
- TESDA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in diesel engine maintenance, power generation equipment, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery.
- Experience working with generator sets is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in rental equipment, power generation, or industrial service environments is an advantage.
