About the Role

Our Australian Legal team has a unique opportunity for a Paralegal & Legal Operations Coordinator to provide operational, administrative and paralegal support across a broad range of legal, regulatory and governance matters.

Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, you will work closely with legal professionals and business stakeholders to support the efficient delivery of legal services. This includes coordinating legal processes, managing records and systems, supporting legal operations, and driving continuous improvement through the adoption of technology and innovative ways of working.

In this role, you will:

- Coordinate legal operations and paralegal support across litigation and dispute matters including workers' compensation, employment-related matters and engagement with external legal providers.
- Support Freedom of Information, data privacy, regulatory requests, ethics and compliance activities, ensuring records, reporting and documentation are managed accurately and efficiently.
- Provide legal support to Human Resources, Real Estate and Project teams including employment processes, due diligence activities, document preparation and stakeholder coordination.
- Support company secretarial and governance activities through the maintenance of corporate records, board documentation, legal registers and other governance requirements.
- Manage legal systems and operational processes including matter management, document management, invoicing, budgeting, accruals and reporting.
- Act as a key liaison between the Legal Team, internal stakeholders, external law firms and consultants, while maintaining accurate records, managing workflows and deadlines and supporting legal risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you can bring to the role

- Qualifications in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Paralegal Practice or a related discipline, supported by experience in a legal administration, paralegal or legal operations environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting litigation, regulatory, compliance and governance processes with the ability to manage legal registers, workflows and documentation.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate multiple activities and meet critical deadlines.
- Experience using legal matter management, document management and financial systems ideally including platforms such as Ascent, iManage, SAP, Oracle, Concur, Diligent or similar.
- Advanced Microsoft 365 capability, including Excel and SharePoint, with experience in reporting, analytics and continuous improvement initiatives using digital tools and technologies.
- A collaborative mindset with a proven ability to work effectively across diverse teams, build trusted relationships and contribute positively to a high-performing and inclusive team environment.
