About the Role
DP World is looking for a Regional Spot Quote Specialist, Air Freight to support the growth of our Freight Forwarding business across Europe & globally.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing competitive and commercially sound air freight quotations for strategic customers, key accounts, and cross-trade opportunities. Acting as a critical link between Sales, Procurement, Operations, overseas offices, and customers, you will help create solutions that support business growth while maintaining profitability.
This is an opportunity for someone with experience in Air Freight who combines strong operational knowledge with a commercial mindset. The role requires collaboration across multiple countries and stakeholders and plays an important part in helping DP World deliver responsive, customer-focused air freight solutions.
How You Will Contribute
- Prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable spot quotations for air freight opportunities across Europe.
- Support strategic customers, key accounts, and sales teams by delivering timely pricing solutions for import, export, and cross-trade shipments.
- Work closely with Procurement, Operations, and overseas offices to obtain rates, evaluate routing options, and build customer solutions.
- Balance customer requirements, market conditions, and commercial objectives to maximise conversion opportunities while protecting margin.
- Support business development activities by providing pricing expertise during customer discussions, tenders, and quotation requests.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the DP World network and partner community.
- Monitor market trends, airline capacity, and pricing developments to identify opportunities and support informed commercial decisions.
- Ensure quotation data, pricing records, and customer information are maintained accurately and in line with agreed processes.
What You Will Bring
- Min 3-5 years of experience within European & International Air Freight markets, with exposure to pricing, quoting, operations, or commercial activities.
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
- Good understanding of air freight export processes, documentation, routing, and market dynamics.
- Experience preparing customer quotations and developing pricing solutions within an international freight forwarding environment.
- Commercially minded with the ability to develop competitive and profitable air freight solutions, while building effective relationships and collaborating across sales, operations, procurement, and international teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other systems used for pricing, reporting, and quotation management. Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade.
