How will you shape our tomorrow
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead to join our engineering team and work on Spark, a modular & omnichannel digital platform that brings together several business applications used by Sonepar teams and customers. Spark aims to simplify day-to-day operations, improve the user experience, and support more efficient digital processes across the organization.
As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading the technical design, development and continuous improvement of the different business and technical domains of the Spark platform, serving the various applications. You will work closely with product, architecture and engineering teams, guide developers on technical choices and best practices, and ensure the delivery of scalable, reliable and maintainable software solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Implement the architectural design and technical specifications for software projects, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance
- Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from coding and testing to deployment and maintenance.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative engineering culture within the team.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, lead architects, designers, and other cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards.
- Tackle complex technical challenges and provide creative solutions to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API documentation, and coding guidelines.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring that software applications meet or exceed performance expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software development processes.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning among team members.
The experience you bring
- Proven experience (7+ years) as a Software Engineer, with a track record of delivering complex software projects in patterns like Microservices and Distributed Systems.
- Strong proficiency in C# .net
- Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics
- Extensive experience with software design principles (Domain Driven Design, Event-Storming), architectural patterns (Event Driven Architecture, orchestration, API Design), and other best practices.
- Solid understanding of database design, GraphQL, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, SAFE).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Work Mode & Location
- Hybrid: 3 days in Paris (8ème) after the trial period
