About this role

Ecolab is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to support the growth of our Life Sciences (LS) business in APAC region. This role will be pivotal in driving local marketing strategies and tactical execution, ensuring alignment with global and regional priorities while adapting to the unique dynamics of the regional market.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Field Marketing Strategy and Execution:    Develop and execute localized marketing initiatives tailored to regional customer needs, regulatory environment, and cultural context. Ensure marketing activities resonate with local audiences while maintaining global brand consistency.

Business Analysis and Planning:   Consolidate and analyze financial and performance data (sales, profitability, etc.) to generate insights and recommendations for senior management. Facilitate discussions on opportunities and challenges during the annual planning cycle. Consolidate market data to build growth outlook.

Product Marketing:  Manage Ecolab’s product portfolio in APAC. Providing local inputs and innovations to regional and global team to advocate market specific needs. Also maintaining product life cycle in order to share market dynamics and product adaptation, etc. to help for product registration, phase-out, deactivation when necessary.

Market Intelligence:  Monitor market trends, demand dynamics, and competitive landscape, and pricing strategies

Field Marketing/ Tactical Marketing:

- Collaborate with sales teams to develop and implement annual marketing plans, ensuring effective deployment of advertising, promotions, and sales aids.
- Manage promotional activities including (but not limited to) creating and localizing promotional materials (brochures, videos, flyer, invitation, newsletters, etc.)
- Manage overall processes for customer facing activities including conference/exhibition booth from idea, design, and show-site management, etc.
- Account specific event management such as on-site seminar, site specific training program, etc.
- Marketing communications for internal and external communications

Required Skills

- Customer-first mindset; flexible and creative thinking
- Strong understanding of Life Sciences industry is a must.
- Proven ability to execute regional marketing tactics with measurable outcomes based on global and regional strategies
- Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting/data analysis.
- Excellent presentation skills for both customer-facing and internal audiences.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and cultures, including virtual teams.
- Business-to-business marketing experience within biopharma, cleanroom, pharma or supporting pharma industry. Good understanding of Biopharma workflow especially purification experience is a bonus.
- Good connections within the related industry is a plus
- Ability to relate to influential people and complex organizational structures; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Independent, self-starter, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset.
- High proficiency in using MS office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in business, science (chemistry, biology, microbiology, etc.), engineering, healthcare, or life sciences.
- MBA or advanced degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or related fields is a plus, but not must.
- 8–10 years’ experience in marketing, marketing management, customer facing roles in healthcare, life sciences industry, with proven success in local market execution.
- Background in B2B Life Sciences industry with customer facing experience is advantageous.
- Prior experience managing marketing activities and event such as tradeshows, customer facing events, and localized campaigns, etc. is a plus.
