ThirdEye Consulting is a specialist Salesforce, Data & AI consultancy on a mission to transform the way ambitious organisations get value from their technology. Founded by a Salesforce CTA and a seasoned consulting leader, we're built differently, we provide a home for technically curious Consultants and we work with clients who want something different too.
We don't just implement platforms. We unlock their potential. Whether it's Salesforce or cutting-edge Data and AI solutions, we design and deliver high-impact programmes that change the way businesses operate, making them faster, smarter, and more connected than before.
Our clients are bold. They want to be challenged, they want fresh thinking, and they want technology that genuinely moves the needle. That's exactly what we bring.
AI isn't a buzzword here, it's woven into the way we work, the solutions we design, and the value we deliver for clients. We have a dedicated AI Innovation agenda, with a team that's constantly exploring emerging tools, pushing boundaries, and evolving how consulting gets done. For the right person, this is an incredible moment to be here, you'll have the security of a growing, in-demand business, the freedom to get hands-on with cutting-edge technology, and the chance to learn from some of the sharpest minds in the industry.
Growth is happening here, driven by exciting new client wins. We're enhancing our already exceptional team of consultants with people who thrive at the intersection of technology and business, who get excited by complex problems, and who want to be part of building something special. At ThirdEye, you won't just deliver projects. You'll help shape the way our clients work and evolve through smart technology.
The Role
You will own and create the Salesforce architecture on large, complex programmes, including: the data model, the security model, the build standards ensuring the solution is future-proof and scalable and that appropriate documentation exists so the system is maintained long-term by ThirdEye, our client or other third parties.
We work in Enterprise technology ecosystems, involving more than just Salesforce. CRM needs to effectively interact with finance, analytics, identity services and big data. Many of these systems will have evolved over multiple years of mergers, acquisitions and digital transformations.
We are looking for a Salesforce architect that is able to correctly identify and articulate the space that Salesforce has within an organisation, while also considering and designing for the non-Salesforce systems that make up the broader tech stack.
You have deep expertise of the Salesforce platform, and are able to advise and justify your solutions on it to C-suite, business stakeholders and technical decision makers.
You will lead architecture and will be the most senior technology authority on projects, owning design, managing junior engineers, and enforcing best practices.
What You'll Do
- Own the technical solution on large-scale, complex, multi-cloud programmes, from discovery through build to go-live and the life of the system afterwards
- Decide what Salesforce should own and what it shouldn't, and defend both halves to the client's other technology owners
- Design the identity and integration model that connects Salesforce to the rest of what the client runs
- Set and hold the technical bar: patterns, best practice, and the quality gates the team works to
- Define the solution at a high level and delegate the detail to the build team, staying close enough to know when to step in
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and hold their deliverables to the agreed design
- Own the DevOps side of delivery: source control, CI, and a release process the team trusts
- Contribute to architect office hours and solution reviews across ThirdEye's projects, including the ones you don't lead
- Take an active part in internal community and professional development sessions, leading demos and best-practice discussions
- Contribute to pursuits: scope solutions for prospects, build rapid prototypes, and be the technical voice in the room
- Use AI tools to speed up solutioning and delivery, while staying accountable and without dropping the quality bar
What You've Done
Salesforce Architecture
- Acted as the primary technical architect on multiple large-scale, complex, multi-cloud Salesforce implementations, across the full project lifecycle
- Deep knowledge of the core platform: security and sharing, permissions, Lightning App Builder, Flow, Apex, LWCs
- Designed for internal and external users, including partners and customers on Experience Cloud
- Worked with third-party packages: e.g. document generation, e-signature, CTI, industry-specific products
- Working knowledge of Agentforce and how to design agentic experiences
- Made and articulated boundary decisions - what Salesforce masters, what sits elsewhere, and how everything ties together
- Produced and maintained architecture artefacts: HLDs, LLDs, ERDs, System Landscape, security architecture
- Hold the Certified System Architect certification, and hold or are on the path to Certified Application Architect
- If you're on a CTA path, our regular review board prep sessions are open to you.
Identity and Trust
- Designed SSO and Identity Federation properly: SAML and OIDC
- Designed for SCIM provisioning and user lifecycle: joiners, movers, leavers
Data Architecture
- Driven decisions on where data should live, and been able to articulate the alternatives
- Chosen between data access strategies such as replication, federation and zero-copy, clarifying the cost in latency, licensing, governance, scalability
- Worked with data in a warehouse or lakehouse as well as in a Salesforce org. (Familiarity with Salesforce Data 360 is welcome)
- Delivered migrations off legacy systems and data sources
- Designed for large data volumes in Salesforce, factoring in skew, indexing, archiving
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data 360 is welcome
Integration and DevOps
- Designed integrations and patterns for how Salesforce interacts with every other system in an IT estate.
- Overseen third-party vendors and held their deliverables to the agreed design and to Salesforce best practices.
- Comfortable leading the charge on DevOps tools and Git to automate and version-control releases.
- Experience with the wider stack is a plus e.g. MuleSoft, Azure, AWS
Delivery and People
- Managed internal and external stakeholder, including C-level / sponsors, particularly when architecture has needed to change.
- Planned and run architecture-oriented workshops, driving towards decisions rather than more workshops.
- Coached and reviewed the work of more junior team members.
- Comfortable working with distributed teams, including our dev and QA team in the Philippines.
At ThirdEye, everyone is welcome. We believe the best solutions come from diverse perspectives, and we actively welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If this role excites you, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your CV.
