About the role

The Apprentice supports formulation and application development activities for Industrial Solutions, with a focus on industrial and consumer sector . The role is responsible for executing laboratory experiments, generating high‑quality technical data, and supporting customer and internal projects while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

- Execute formulation development and application testing activities in alignment with project objectives.

- Conduct performance and stability evaluations.

- Operate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.

- Generate, record, and maintain high-quality, well-documented experimental data to support internal R&D initiatives and technical assessments.

- Ensure strict compliance with laboratory safety protocols, chemical handling regulations, and quality management systems.

Qualifications

- Apprenticeship in a science related field.

- Scientific rigor, detail oriented, following strictly laboratory best practices and safety standards.

Salary range  
This position is part of a work-study (dual education) program within higher education. 
In accordance with Belgian legislation, students receive a statutory work-study allowance (not a salary). 
For the 2025-2026 academic year, the minimum allowance amounts to €679 gross per month (Bachelor's level) or €944 gross per month (Master's level). 
Eligibility is subject to the required work-study agreements being in place with the educational institution.
