Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Technology Business Office (TBO) Leader to drive operational excellence and strategic alignment within our technology organization. This role will serve as the backbone of IT operations, managing the full spectrum responsibilities within the office of IT while ensuring seamless collaboration between business and technical leadership. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in business operations, financial planning, vendor management, workforce planning, and executive reporting to optimize IT delivery, performance, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

- Develop workforce plans, staffing and utilization models, and resource forecasts aligned with IT priorities

- Monitor capacity, utilization, productivity, and organizational health across infrastructure, architecture, engineering, and service delivery

- Define IT KPIs and delivery dashboards, reports, and actionable insights on performance and operational health. Identify trends and assist with implementing process improvements

- Support budgeting and financial forecasting for IT operations and capital investments

- Oversee the technology book of work, resources, dependencies, risks, and conflicts

- Assist with IT vendor relationship management; contracts, SLAs, and performance reviews

- Analyze vendor spend, prepare for renewals, and identify cost-optimization opportunities

- Collaborate with the extended technology leadership team to mature operational practices

- Strengthen technology employee engagement and satisfaction

Requirements:

- 7+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, business operations, or technology management

- Bachelors degree required

- Experience supporting CIOs, CTOs, or other senior leaders on strategic and operational initiatives

- Expertise in technology workforce planning, staffing models, and organizational management

- Proven results with third party contracts, vendor relationships, and expense management

- Advanced proficiency in business analytics, data visualization, reporting tools, and performance measurement

- Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information for diverse stakeholders

- Record of leading successful organizational transformation or operational improvements

- Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology leaders at all levels

- Experience in large-scale IT organizations with complex, multi-service portfolios preferred

- Proficiency with Jira, ServiceNow, or comparable enterprise operations platforms preferred

- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and best practices preferred
