About this role
At Viaplay Group, we entertain millions of people every day through our streaming services, radio networks, and TV channels. We believe in the power of content not just as a way of telling stories and touching lives, but also expanding worlds.
We’re looking for the best people to join us on our journey. Right now, we’re searching for a Product Manager & Designer in our Stockholm office – are you ready to hit play on an exciting career change?
The Role
You’ll work across two small, multidisciplinary teams to improve our products and create value for our users and business, combining product judgement with hands-on UX design.
AI will be a core part of how the teams build and deliver products. You’ll use it throughout product and design work to explore solutions, create prototypes and turn agreed opportunities into useful, testable releases. Together with the teams, you’ll validate outcomes and share what works with the wider organisation.
The work starts with a lab approach, with focused scope, short feedback loops and room to experiment. As we learn what works, you’ll help shape ongoing product responsibilities and ways of working.
What your day might look like:
- Turn agreed opportunities into clear priorities, hypotheses, and scope across two teams
- Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes together with engineers
- Use AI to explore solutions and move from ideas to testable experiences
- Work with users, feedback, and analytics to evaluate what we build
- Help the teams decide what to improve, continue, or stop
- Resolve dependencies with stakeholders and share learning across the teams
What we’re looking for
You’ve worked in a product organisation and contributed directly to both product decisions and UX design. You can show how you’ve used AI across meaningful parts of that work, explain your own contribution, and demonstrate how you evaluated the results.
For this role, we’re looking for:
- Product experience: Delivering digital products with cross-functional teams, balancing user needs, business impact and technical considerations and taking responsibility for outcomes after release
- Hands-on design: The ability to independently create user flows, wireframes and testable prototypes in Figma or comparable tools, and improve them through research and feedback
- AI-native product development: Practical experience using AI beyond drafting text or generating isolated concepts, for example to explore solutions, build interactive prototypes or support delivery
- Evidence and judgement: Experience using user insights, analytics, hypotheses and experiments to guide decisions. You can distinguish observed evidence from assumptions and evaluate AI-generated output
- Working across teams: The ability to balance parallel priorities, build relationships and give teams the context they need to make progress independently
It’s a bonus if you have:
- Experience with subscription products, streaming, or other consumer digital services
What's in it for you
An opportunity to help shape how Viaplay builds products with AI. You’ll combine product management and design, work closely with engineers, and see how your decisions influence both the products we deliver and the way the teams develop.
You’ll join at a stage where there is room to experiment and help establish practices that can benefit the wider organisation.
What we offer you
- We’ve got you covered! 30 days of paid vacation every year, an attractive pension and insurance scheme, and generous parental leave pay lift.
- Your wellbeing matters. We provide you with various wellbeing initiatives including wellness allowance.
- Flexibility that works. We follow a hybrid model with at least three days a week in the office, giving you the best mix of collaboration and focus time.
- A safe space to grow and up-skill. Our learning culture puts you in the driver’s seat of your own development.
- An innovative environment with Hack Days once a year. This week-long initiative allows you to think outside the box and deliver creative, technical solutions that (more often than not) go on to be implemented, either in our product or our ways of working.
- Entertainment is what we love, and entertainment is what we do. So, unlimited access to Viaplay seems only fair for you to get to know the product – including serier & viewing events, new release movie rentals, linear channels and more.
